Who Can Ride
Riders of all abilities are welcome:
Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Expert.
Whether you’re new to motorcycle trials, building confidence, or pushing advanced technical skills, the loop gives you room to practise, progress and enjoy the sport at your own pace.
Licence Requirements
A current ACU licence is required to ride.
Choose either:
Annual ACU licence, or
ACU Day Licence (available on-site: £10 adult / £5 youth)
These licences provide the necessary insurance for ACU Trials / Events.
What to Expect
A full Motorcycle Trials Practice Day across our 2.5-mile offroad loop featuring:
steep hills
rock steps
woodland banks
stream sections
naturally technical terrain
Perfect for riders developing balance, precision and control across all categories from beginner to expert.
Travelling marshals support the day, offering guidance, safety and encouragement.
Notes
Spectators welcome
All riders must wear a suitable helmet and motorcycle boots
Events usually run in all weather unless there is a safety concern
Additional dates may be added for private group sessions, rider training days & special events
