Magnum Trials Centre is run by a tight-knit team of riders who live and breathe the sport. David Worthington, Simon Etheridge, Mark Styzaker and Matt Larkin bring decades of experience across trials, enduro, motocross and road riding, along with a genuine passion for helping others progress.

They’re the people you’ll meet out on the loop, keeping things safe, offering advice and making sure every rider - from first-timers to seasoned competitors - has a brilliant day on the bike.

    David Worthington

    FOUNDER & ACU CLERK OF COURSE

    David grew up riding trials at the Reason family farm in the late 70s before moving into football and later running Magnum Motorsport in the British Superbike Championships. Returning to trials in 2024, he set the vision for MTC and now leads the team with experience, passion and a focus on creating the best place to ride.

    Simon 'Seth' Etheridge

    ACU CLERK

    Simon brings years of motocross and enduro experience, stepping into trials after being convinced by David. Now an ACU-certificated clerk of the course, he helps shape the loop and ensures every practice day runs safely and smoothly.

    SITE DEVELOPMENT & RIDER SUPPORTER

    A long-time road biker, Mark joined the team early on and played a big role in helping MTC take shape. His experience and enthusiasm for the sport make him a steady, supportive presence around the venue.

    Matt returned to trials after a 30-year break and quickly became part of the core team. He supports riders on practice days with a down-to-earth, encouraging approach that’s especially helpful for newcomers.
